FÓLKVANGR

Fólkvangr runs on World of Warcraft version 1.12.1 (Vanilla). You will need this specific version — retail or later versions will not work.

• The client is approximately 2.4 GB
• If you already own the game you can use your retail 1.12.1 disc or a digital copy
• A full install with no patches required — the client already includes all 1.12.1 content

Open your WoW installation folder, navigate to Data/enUS/ (or Data/enGB/ depending on your region), and open realmlist.wtf in Notepad.

Replace the contents with exactly:

Save the file and do not add anything else. Make sure it is saved as plain text, not .wtf.txt.

Register for a free account on this portal. Your portal account and in-game account share the same username and password.

• Choose your faction (Horde or Alliance) during registration — this locks all characters on the account to that faction
• Usernames are case-insensitive and must be 3–16 characters
• Email is required for account recovery

Launch WoW.exe from your installation folder (not the launcher). At the login screen, enter your portal username and password and click Enter World.

Select Fólkvangr from the realm list and create your first character. Welcome to Azeroth!
